Ladies and Gentlemen: The Vending Machine

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

By Sunil Khemchandani The generation of today is very different than generations past. Times where Star Treks Replicator were light years away are now here in front of our very eyes, and technology is advancing at a very rapid rate. In the Star Trek series, a Replicator was a robot or mechanical device that could covert energy into particles or matter and do the same with small objects. What looked so complicated and surreal then has become everyday life for us now with many of our everyday demands being satisfied by vending machines. The robotic world we as human beings strongly rely upon is quickly and efficiently replacing human interaction and contact. Services are now solely dependent on the consumer, who wants products that are easily accessible with little to no hassle. Due to the demand of machines and the constant rush everyone is in, the vending business has started to reap the benefits, and has answered the desire of our new robotic world with a large variety of national brand name products in vending machines. A vending machine is defined as a machine that sells all types of refreshments and miscellaneous items in which you pay some change and choose which item you desire. Vending machines will eventually be able to take an order and payment from a customers cell phone and be able to create gourmet meals in minutes for its customers. Step back, George Jetson, your meal is about to be served up similar to the popular cartoons. Simply choose from a variety of cold sandwich and frozen foods and have a coffee latte made just for you with extra foam, all done without every have to speak to another person. Instead, a control panel on the vending machine lets you choose and pay without any human contact at all. Vending machines are the new wave of the future. The world of vending is extremely profitable because there is so much to sell with a high demand. You can sell virtually anything and everything bulk candy vending, candy bar vending, beverage and soda vending, the ever popular gumball vending machine, toiletries, DVD’s and music vendingthe list goes on and on. But how does someone, and enthusiastic entrepreneur, interested in purchasing or starting his/her own vending business get started? Todays society relies so much on machines and mechanical devices that vending businesses are booming with new and exciting opportunities. VendingMachine.bz will help you get to where you need to be to have a successful vending business with the right amount and types of vending machines. The time is really now to jump on board and get started living your dream of having your own vending business. http://www.VendingMachine.bz Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Sunil_Khemchandani http://EzineArticles.com/?Ladies-and-Gentlemen:–The-Vending-Machine&id=270604 where can i order xanax without a prescription read this before buying xanax online where can i buy 2mg xanax online buy xanax online valium

5 Tips to Prevent Vacation Weight Gain

Monday, November 26th, 2007

By Cassandra Germsheid Whether you vacation every year or you’ve saved up for many years to treat yourself to a dream getaway, the fear of gaining “vacation weight” can be very stressful. I’ve come up with 5 tips to help you maintain your weight while on vacation. If you’re near a beach, make sure you go for a walk each day in the sand. Walking in sand burns twice the calories as walking on pavement. Strive for a pace of about 4 miles per hour for optimal weight loss. Don’t forget to wear proper shoes and always have a bottle of water with you to keep hydrated. Take advantage of the ocean, lakes or pools. Swimming is a great form of exercise that works out your whole body while being fun at the same time. Always have a healthy snack with you to keep from eating too much later. It will be easier to eat every few hours if you have something handy with you while you’re sight-seeing. If you are going to eat a big meal, make it earlier in the day so you have more time to burn the calories off. Check out the local dance clubs and dance the night away. Exotic foods and drinks can be very high in calories, but dancing is a fun way to burn them all off. Stay away from too many alcoholic drinks as most of them contain a lot of calories and are very bloating. Stay away from the all-you-can-eat buffets. They’re nasty. Enough said. By making conscious choices about eating and exercising, you won’t gain any weight while on vacation and you can enjoy your time off guilt-free! Cassandra Germsheid is a mother of 2 who has struggled with postpartum weight gain. She has shared the knowledge she has gained at her blog, http://realweightlossinfo.com where more weight loss tips can be found. Cyber Bullies - What You And Your Kids Need To Know Now

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Greg Writer As thousands of students are looking forward to the launch of their next school year new school supplies, readying that new outfit or new uniform shirt, or just getting together with friends to embark on yet another scholastic roller coaster. There are many others, however, who look upon the beginning of school with trepidation. They are the new kids, the shy kids, the kids who would rather be anyplace else but in school. Why? The reasons take on a myriad of variations, many grounded in plain old coming of age angst or the end of summer depression, but within this group there are some kids who are in a class all by themselves. These are the kids who, as a result of embarrassment, shame, or fear, have either been, or fear that they will be harmed by their peers, or worse yet, by themselves because they believe they are alone and the problem is to big for them or anyone to handle. At first blush, you may be thinking Im talking about in the hood gang crime. Its nothing that obvious. In fact, this crime happens under the roofs in what appears to be happy families. This crime is insidious, cowardly, and criminal. Theres a ground swell of it within schools across this country. Its called Cyber Bullying. Cyber bullying takes what used to be schoolyard insults, pushing, and shoving to a whole new, expansive, and very dangerous level. The cyber bully uses email, chat rooms, instant messaging, cell phones and text messaging to insult, demean, threaten, humiliate, harass, deceive, impersonate, and in many cases, posts lewd or embarrassing photographs online of their peer - while hiding behind a veil of anonymity that the Internet provides. On the middle school level, typical insults include comments like U R ugly, U R fat, U R a liar, Nobody likes you, however when kids reach 13, the comments are often sexual in nature, include profanity and detail true or untrue reports of promiscuity. Photos, which are sometimes altered, and video from cell phones are posted in emails and on familiar file sharing sites such as Myspace.com, Xanga.com, LiveJournal.com, Blogger.com, and others. Even poor childish choices such as when a student puts up a website devoted to posting pictures of the ugliest or fattest kids in school, or when a 7th grade girl in Manhattan posted a video that a boy sent her of him serenading a song to her to her because he liked her and she didnt like him back. It just seemed like a joke to her, that is, until it ended up being laughed at all over the Net. Needless to say, this young boy was devastated. Unlike the schoolyard bully, these attacks arent by some scary kid wanting to push his weight around. They can be by anyone or no one that the child knows. Tragically, its sometimes by someone that the child thought was a friend. And unlike the schoolyard bully, a cyber bully can be comprised of one or many kids and by the time the posting hits the Net, literally thousands, if not millions of people have seen it, if its been shared around the world. And unlike the schoolyard bully, the cyber bully hits their victim in the sanctity of their own home or bedroom where they feel that they cant escape. Suzanne Stanford, CEO of My Internet Safety Coach (http://www.myinternetsafetycoach.com) , notes: Often, kids are afraid to tell their parents for fear that their computer will be taken away or that their parents will make the situation worse”. What they dont realize is that unless the bullying stops immediately, it can escalate and leave permanent psychological scars. Thats one of the reasons Ms. Stanford recommends Childrens Educational Networks FREE Internet Filter and Parental Control software and there TUKI Browser for kids, available at http://www.TUKI.com. Kids need to know how to navigate safely within this environment, so theyll know how to prevent and protect themselves from these situations. Additionally, we make it very clear to kids who might want to engage in this type of activity, that there are severe personal consequences to their behavior. For example, we want them to consider before they make poor choices that whatever is posted on the Net is there forever, and as much as they may regret later that they did this to someone, the damage is done and irreversible. Experts in the field state that victims of these crimes suffer psychological trauma requiring professional help, have had to move to other schools, their mental state has resulted in their grades dropping to such a degree that they cannot qualify for college upon high school graduation; many are afraid to form close relationships with new people; and in more severe cases, suicide or murder has resulted. These are not just childhood pranks. These are serious crimes, and several states are enacting laws, such as Florida, making these emails felonies. In Pennsylvania, cyber bullying, harassment and stalking carry stiff jail sentences and fines for those convicted. Cyber bullies need to realize that they may be able to hide from their victims behind screen names, but they cannot hide from law enforcement. Mark Franek, Dean of Students at the William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, explained the process very well: Each time the Internet is accessed, an IP (Internet Protocol) address is established. The 12 numerals punctuated by the 3 periods is the electronic fingerprint that can be accessed by the authorities to trace all electronic communications between computers and/or mobile phones. No computer or mobile phone or its user is really anonymous in cyberspace. According to a survey conducted in June of 2000 by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on 1,500 children aged 10-17, 1 in 17 youths had been threatened or harassed over the Internet and about one-third of those found the incidents extremely distressing. A study in Britain in 2004 by NCH, a British childrens charity, found that 1 in 4 students had been bullied online. According to a CBS 2 (television) Special Report, conducted in 2005, more than 50% of 4-8th grade students have been bullied online. A recent nationwide survey of children and pre-teens by i-Safe America found that 57% of kids in grades 4-8 said someone had said hurtful or angry things to them online, 13% “quite often”; 53% admitted to saying mean or hurtful things to others, 7% “quite often”; 35% had been threatened online, 5% “quite often”; 42% had been bullied online, 5% “quite often”; and 58% had not told their parents or another adult about receiving mean or hurtful comments. In the UK, 33% of 9-to-19-year-olds who use email, chat, IM, and/or text messaging phones at least once a week “have been sent nasty or hurtful messages, and only 4% of parents say their child’s been bullied online, according to very recent research from the London School of Economics and Political Science. The Internet and cell phones have become, in large part, the fabric of the social lives of tweens and teens. As such, they are prime targets for this kind of attack. The first thing kids need to understand about Instant Messaging, and blogs (web logs) or live journals, is that the more personal information you give someone, the more it can be used against you by not only those whom you wanted to read it, but by others whom you didnt. Whenever you type something online and press send, you have just given up your privacy. Additionally, people online will pose to be people they arent for purposes of deception and in many cases, to commit crimes often stealing someones identity in the process. Some helpful tips for kids and teens regarding Cyber Bullying: Know that there are ALWAYS people available to help you that will make cyber bullies stop. These people are law enforcement; your school teacher, school counselor, principal; your parents or a nurturing, responsible adult; Cyber crime reporting sites such as: www.cybertipline.org, www.wiredsafety.net, www.KidSafe.com and safety@worldkids.net. Dont give out any personal information such as your name, your schools name or the name of any of the sports teams in which you play, your home telephone or cellular phone number, your address– including the city where your other parent lives if they are divorced, your parents office address, or the address of your school. Dont ever use your real name as your user or screen name. If you find that you are a victim of cyber bullying: Do not respond to the harassers directly because that is exactly what they want. Dont give them the pleasure of knowing that youre upset by it — Stay cool. Save and print out all messages DO NOT ERASE THE EMAILS. Report this crime to the police. If possible, report it as it is happening. Take notes: State the name of the harassers, if you know it, and all the details about the incident(s) If you are afraid to call the police, email a report of the incident(s) to cyber crime reporting sites such as: www.cybertipline.org, www.wiredsafety.org, or safety@worldkids.net. REMEMBER: YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR ONLINE EXPERIENCE. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR YOU TO BE VERBALLY ABUSED OR THREATENED If you want to BLOCK USERS from contacting you via email, do the following: Look for the Block button. Sometimes it is in your Inbox. You block someone by highlighting or checking the box next to their email and then clicking on the Block button. When you do this, all the emails form the address you blocked will not go through to your Inbox. In Outlook Express, you go to a Blocked Senders List. To do this, do the following: Click on: Tools Message Rules Blocked Senders List Click on Add Type in the persons email address in the box, or right click on the name of the person in your contact list. Click either Mail Messages to block only emails; News Messages, if you want to block communication from a news group or someone in a newsgroup; or Mail and News Messages, to block the persons personal email and communication via the news group. If youre still getting messages from someone who is harassing you online, after you do the above, change your email address. Its an unsettling thought for any parent to think that their child may be a victim of a Cyber Bully, or be one. As difficult as it may be to consider, parents and teachers alike need to talk about this subject at home and in the classroom. We need to raise awareness of this issue and be pro-active. At present, lawmakers are drafting laws to prevent and prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes. Education, Vigilance, and strict laws are key in disarming bullies. Bleach - Our Reliance on It is a Mistaken Belief; Part 3

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By David Andrew Smith From the first two articles it has hopefully become obvious that bleach does exactly that. It bleaches coloured pigments so they are transparent. It doesnt clean by removing. I was trying to explain this to my son-in-law who said he swore by bleach and used it for many things. Only that morning he said he had used it to clean the tannin from stained teaspoons. Again I attempted to explain that the tannin was still there it had just been bleached so he couldnt see it. His answer was I cannot see it so it has gone and the spoons are nice and shiny once again.. Defeated yet again by the power of bleach! Having thought about this for some little time now perhaps I should reconsider my quest to re-educate people about the use of bleach. The power of what people perceive to be true using their sight and smell is too great to overcome. On top of that I myself have succumbed to the power of bleach. One of my cleaners was having quite a lot of trouble removing the tannin stains that had developed on the kitchen worktops of a well used office kitchen. In the end she called me in and said she had tried everything. The stain had embedded itself in the worktop and all remedies had only succeeded in dulling the stain. Not to waste any more time and effort on this particular problem I furnished her with some bleach and a few minutes later the work surfaces were looking as new. So even in my own world there is a place for bleach! None the less there are far too many instances of young children drinking bleach that individuals should not simply leave a bottle by the toilet as seen in so many households. Keep it out of reach, preferably in a cupboard that youngsters cannot get into. Secondly never use bleach with any other cleaner. We had an instance quite recently where we had been called into a nursing home to descale all the toilets. Limescale deposits had built up on these toilets over the last 15 years. So a team of six cleaners set to work using phosphoric acid descaler. A few moments later the toilets had to be evacuated by the cleaners as the fumes were overpowering. Un beknown to us the nursing home cleaners had earlier been round to clean all the toilets and had simply poured bleach around the bowl. Result a very nasty reaction between the bleach and the acid producing toxic fumes. So there is a cautionary tale to take note of. When the manufacturers say do not use with any other cleaning product they actually mean it! Embracing Authenticity

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By Sarah Liddle Our authenticity is found hidden in the small details of our daily round -home, family, work and pleasures. - Something more Small thing forgotten Susan Jeffers mentions in her book Dare to Connect something calledEverybody training instead of somebody training. The majority ofpeople are programmed from a young age that we must be a somebodywe seek out to be accepted by others including acceptance from friends, family, the church, groups, the society, the nation and the world. Weclimb to the top of the work ladder go away on holidays and spend ourmoney on luxuries goods. Most of us jump on the treadmill of more, better, best without actually ever realizing who we are. We put our maskon, and act as people want us to act. Eventually our authentic selfbecomes hidden and our ego self is absorbed and acted out daily, this issomebody training. We have to realize that a lot of people are walking around acting outwhat people want them to be. (I know from experience that most peoplewould rather connect with a genuine less than saintly human, not a fakerobotic person. They would rather them be themselves and have aninteraction that has the human touch of less than perfect. Acceptingeach other as they are; flaws and all.) Under the surface of the mask that many of us are wearing we arebeing held back by loneliness, isolation, and lack of self-esteem. We needto realize what mask we are wearing, once we can identify our mask wecan learn to change our behaviours when we simultaneously try toimpress others hoping for acceptance we neglect our authenticity of whowe are as humans and as unique individual beings.Psychiatrist W.W Broadbent identifies a few mask that people wear. Mans man style (I am absolutely fearless.) Saint style (Arent I sweet, smiling, loving and accepting?) Windy style (Arent I wonderfully articulate?) Chameleon style ( Ill be anything you want me to be) Moralizer style (I am virtuous and righteous and I always do what Ishould doand so should you!) Frightened-fawn-in-the-forest style (I am weak and need you totake care of me) Martyr style (Oh, what I have done for you and get nothing inreturn.) Super-self-sufficient style (I dont you, I dont need anyone.) Playing authentic style (Look how honest and forthright andauthentic I am.) Toilet-bowl syndrome (Poor, poor me. The whole world is shittingon me.) Red Cross nurse style (Cant you see how giving and nurturing Iam?) Guru style (Look how wise I am) One-upman style (See how cleverly I can put anyone down) Fan style (Whatever you do, it is great!) Nice-guy style (How could you help but like such a charming, sweet guy as I am?) Dig me style (Dont I entertain and amuse you?) EXERCISE: Can you identify your personal mask you use to cover up your authenticself around people? Can you list five people that you believe wear any of the above mask. Person Mask 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. How does it make you feel when others cover up who they really are? Why do you think they cover up their authentic self? Can you recall a time when you covered up who you really were inorder to be a somebody? How did this make you feel? Can you recall a time where you felt like you were a everybody? Howdid this make you feel? LIFE WORKS ASSIGNMENT:Observe this week who you are most prone to cover up your authentic self around? And why you cover up your authentic self around this person? 1. Is this necessary? 2. How did this make you feel? 3. How can you be more of your authentic self around this person? Lipitrex Under the Microscope

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

By Elysia Simmons You can read article after article, promise after promise, about how Lipitrex is the perfect solution to all your weight loss worries, how it will melt the kilos away and this will all happen within weeks but what you really need to know is does Lipitrex work? Will it help you shed those unwanted kilos for good and ensure that you never have to see them again? This Lipitrex Review will delve into the truth behind the clever marketing ploys and sales talk and reveal the truth behind Lipitrex. Lipitrex marketers rave about the supplements ability to eliminate those never-ending hunger pains, speed up your metabolism, farewell that pesky abdominal fat way to say goodbye to those extra kilos but can these claims be substantiated or are they just another sales pitch? These are the questions this Lipitrex Review will answer. Lipitrex is a 4 in 1 dietary supplement created with the intention of addressing specific weight loss functions within your body and manipulating these functions to ensure you lose weight and keep it off. So, have Lipitrex creators been successful in their mission to cater for all the areas of concern when trying to lose weight? The ingredients in Lipitrex have been widely critiqued and the following ingredients have been given a big tick for possessing definite weight loss qualities: the natural additive Caffeine, Citrus Aurantium (Bitter Orange), Magnesium and Green Tea Extract. The inclusion of these ingredients in the Lipitrex supplement will undoubtedly support weight loss. While the pine nut extract Pinnothin, Lipitrexs appetite suppressant, has received some criticism a thorough analysis has proven that users will achieve dramatic weight loss results and experience a hugely reduced desire to eat. The ingredients in Lipitrex provoke certain responses within your body that will help you lose weight but also maintain that weight loss as it alters how the food is processed in your system. Pinnothin suppresses your appetite to help you curb those between-meal cravings and also reduce the amount of food it takes for you to feel full. The natural fatty acid CLA prevents inflated fat tissue, interferes with the hormone that stores fat in the abdominal area and encourages lean muscle tissue which burns calories. The inclusion of natural ingredients like Citrus Aurantium in Lipitrex speeds up your metabolic processes which control the time it takes to release fat from your body. Vitamins, caffeine and other Lipitrex ingredients also assist your weight loss progress by giving you a great energy boost. Each of these contributions proves Lipitrex creators knew theyre stuff when creating this weight loss supplement. In altering the way the body systems actually work, your body will take the hassle of losing weight out of your hands. Lipitrex has been praised in the supplement world for the exclusion of ephedra, which is infamous for producing high blood pressure and racing heartbeats. Lipitrex users have noted that they did not experience the unpleasant side effects that they have with other diet pills on the market. The natural ingredients contained in Lipitrex assimilate into your system faster and easier than the artificial components of other supplements available today. If anyone was to hear the raging rants of an angry, dissatisfied customer it would be the manufacturers and to date they still have not received a report of anyone having experienced serious side effects to the supplement.Users have found So, it seems your questions have been answered in this Lipitrex Review - Lipitrex does in fact produce great weight loss results. Lipitrex creators have truly heard the cries of dieters around the world and engineered a supplement that addresses each area of concern. The 4 in 1 system will help you achieve awesome weight loss results and keep the weight off in the long term. Elysia Simons is a writer and researcher on many diet pills like Lipitrex Review. Corporal Punishment Around the World

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

By Kadence Buchanan I was listening to one of the Parent Teacher Association meetings we have regularly at my sons school when our normal chit chat and conversations about the weather were ended abruptly by a question from Mrs. Stallworth. Is it right to discipline kids with spanking and other forms of corporal punishment? asked the usually meek Mrs. Stallworth. The question caused immediate silence in the room as the normally loquacious parents and teachers seemed stunned by the frankness of the question. Im sure no one wanted to imagine the thought of considering whether or not it is right to spank their kids. It was surprising, no doubt about that. But after we recovered from our initial shock, we realized that the question was relevant. It seems that Mrs. Stallworths son Billy was caught stealing some coins from his mothers purse. Mr. Stallworth, a man who exuded moral integrity and discipline, apparently had taken out his belt and hit Billy on the hand. Mrs. Stallworth stressed that it wasnt anything severely painful but it was nonetheless a jarring experience for Billy since it was the first time he had ever been spanked. In an effort to make sense of it all, Mrs. Stallworth had done some research on the topic. Now, she wanted to share what she had learned with the rest of us and in exchange, she wanted us to tell her how we felt. It turns out that there are many countries that legally ban and condemn the practice of corporal punishment for children such as Austria, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Cyprus, Denmark, Latvia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Germany, Israel, Iceland, Romania, Ukraine and Hungary. The reverse is true in Asia where people not only tolerate the practice of corporal punishment but even endorse it. Many Asian countries carry the tradition and belief that a fair amount of punishment will make their children better people. For instance, in places like China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea, it is legal to punish one’s own child using physical means. However, China and Taiwan prohibit their schools from using corporal punishment against children. Vitamin B12 and Weight Loss

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

By Shane Woods Cobalamin or as it is better known, vitamin B12 is one of the vital nutrients our bodies need in order to work properly. It is necessary to perform many of the body’s more important tasks, including the making of DNA during cell division and the healthy formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B12 is known as the “energy vitamin” because it gives a real energy boost. It is used to remedy fatigue and it speeds up the metabolism. Red blood cells are also responsible for producing hemoglobin, the part of the blood that takes oxygen from the lungs and transports it to all the different parts of the body. Vitamin B12 has many functions and uses but does it help people lose weight? What is the link between Vitamin B12 and weight loss? Vitamin B12 Injections and Weight Loss Some people might go to a clinic to get vitamin B12 shots. These shots are administered directly into the muscle, allowing for better absorption. People who get these shots mainly suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome or vitamin B12 deficiency. They might also claim that taking these shots help them to lose weight. However, Vitamin B12 injections by themselves do not directly induce weight loss, nor are they intended to. So why do people who get them lose weight? There are many factors to take into consideration. Vitamin B12 causes the metabolism to speed up, which in turn increases weight loss. People who go to get injections tend to be more conscious of their health and are already on a vegetarian, or other weight loss diet. Vitamin B12 shots give a tremendous boost of energy. This generally helps people to maintain their diets, and motivates them to exercise and increase physical activity. Vitamin B12 also helps to fight stress and depression, symptoms which are sometimes associated with weight gain. While vitamin B12 shots can be a great benefit to some, particularly those with Vitamin B12 deficiency, there can be some negative side effects when taken excessively or along with certain other substances. There is also a risk for those who have certain pre-existing conditions. It’s important to consult a physician before undergoing vitamin B12 injections. Vitamin B12 and Dieting When undergoing any new weight loss program it is important to make sure that the diet is well balanced and contains all of the essential nutrients. This of course includes vitamin B12. Food sources rich in vitamin B12 include: - Meat - Poultry - Milk and other dairy products - Eggs - Fish Since the only reliable source of vitamin B12 are from animals those practicing a vegetarian or vegan diet will have to get their vitamin B12 from supplements. If a person doesn’t get enough vitamin B12 they may develop a deficiency. Vitamin B12 Deficiency Vitamin B12 deficiency can become a serious health threat. The body can normally stock up many years supply of vitamin B12, so it more often materializes when the body is unable to properly absorb vitamin B12 because of illness or old age. Incidentally, Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause weight loss, among other symptoms. Extreme cases can even result in permanent nerve damage if left untreated. A person diagnosed with Vitamin B12 deficiency will need to take supplements. These are most often taken as capsules or via intramuscular injections. Although vitamin B12 does not directly cause weight loss, it is still an essential nutrient that is needed by the body. It is important to get a sufficient amount of it and doing so will ensure better health, all around. How To Keep The Weight You Lost From Finding You Again

Monday, November 19th, 2007

By Gregg Hall We’ve all done it, well at least those of us who have dieted. We have lost weight only to regain the pounds in a matter of weeks or months. Don’t get frustrated and give up, there is hope! For starters you have to realize that weight loss programs do work if they are followed correctly. It is also necessary to combine exercise along with a balanced diet and adequate water intake regardless of what specific diet plan you have decided to follow. Sorry, all the late night hype commercials that tell you can lose 30 pounds just by taking a pill and laying on the couch are just that, hype! The only way you will lose 30 pounds that easily is by cutting off a leg. The key to a healthy diet plan is to find one that you can follow long term; it has to be a lifestyle change. The short term crash diets are the biggest reason for failure to keep the weight off. The other big killer in keeping weight off is exercise, as I alluded to above. A long term weight loss plan must include a regular exercise regimen as well or it is doomed to failure. A good exercise program will help you to build lean body mass, help your heart, and increase your metabolism to burn fat. Exercise will help you get your body in great shape and keep it there. If you attempt to diet without exercise it is highly probable that the weight you lose will find you again. Fad diets like Atkins, South Beach and others will not work long term. They are not healthy and they are difficult to stick to. A healthy diet for the long term will include foods from all of the major food groups as shown in the USDA food pyramid from the government web site or from the Mayo clinic. The key to weight loss isn’t restricting certain foods as much as it is the amount you eat and the caloric intake. It’s pretty simple if you eat 3500 calories less than your body needs you will lose a pound. You just have to find the magic number of calories that your body needs to operate on. People who are considered obese and are more than fifty ponds over weight very often will go for the low carb diet approach in order to lose weight rapidly. This works for some people in the short term, however as I have stated before the long term success of such weight loss programs is doubtful at best. A combination of exercise and a healthy diet while realizing it is a lifestyle change is the secret to losing the weight for good. Gregg Hall is an author living in Navarre Florida. Extra-marital Affairs…Yes or No!!!

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

By Sanjeev Sharma (Think and Tell) Human Relations, a complex yet interesting part of our life, to dilute the complexity of human relations we can classify it into three parts. 1) Primary: Parent-child; relation among the siblings; Husband-wife. 2) Secondary: maternal and paternal grandparents; maternal and paternal uncles & and aunts; cousins; in-laws 3) External Relations: Friends; employer-employee; colleagues; relation with fellow citizen and Extra Marital relation. In laymans language, Extra-marital relations are relations to be made and nourished out-side the marriage. Different reasons for a person to enter into Extra Marital Relations Emotional comfort/security; Need of love and affection; Biological or physical need and Sometimes, even just fun. Whatever may be the need or purpose, such relations are not yet accepted by the society and common people. Rape, moving in and around red-light areas, male and female prostitutes and even live-in relations are different forms of extra-marital relations. But there are two big differences: 1)For a relation to be an extra-marital relation, one must be married. 2)One can have extra-marital relation, without entering into biological/physical relationjust for Emotional Comfort. Whereas, all other, above-mentioned relations are to satisfy biological/physical need. Few famous examples of Extra marital Affairs, Star of the Millennium Amitabh Bhachan; Princess of Wales Diana; Former President of USA Bill Clinton; For Cricketer Ian Botham, Cricketer Shane Warne, Cricketer turned Politician Imran Khan and Liquor-Baron Vijay Mallyathey are carrying an image of a Play-boy. May celebrities from entertainment industry; sportsmen and politicians across the globe are into such type of relations. Why there is so much of hue and cry over such relations? Why people are afraid of accepting such relations? True, two adult people, with mutual consent, whatever they do are no ones business but then why not accepting it. Why there is hypocrisy? Certainly there are some biological, psychological, logical and social reasons for that. I am working on a book on Human Relations and this will be one of the chapters in that book. (So, just wait for itI can assure you that it will be worth-waiting). I am looking forward to your comments on it. What do you feel about such relations? For me, it is something like this: Once in a week, you like to go for a movie; once in a month you like to party; once in a year you like to go for a vacation, why? Just for a change. In good olden days, Kings and Emperors use to have multiple queens; why? Even in 21st century, in some religions and we the communities wherein one is allowed to have multiple spouses, why? Again, the answer in change. I am not here to endorse for such relations, but I only like to say that either have control on your instincts or be brave and face the world. Dont have double standards. You can cheat the whole world, but own in your heart, you know what you are. Awaiting your comments. Their Comments: Srirupa Chakraborty :”…One more masterpiece from you, keep it up friend…..u r getting better each time…” Divya Parmar :”…very good article, indeed a very good initiative to share this stuff really a Food for Thought for everyone…” Prasad SKR: “…I wonder how dare a person openly can admit or accept such a relation he / she has especially in the indian tradition. In recent past on screen it has become a regular phenomenon to view such relations in all most all the channels, finally ending up in a very bad state. However, frankly, to my knowledge most of the people were forced to retire as gentlemen for many a reasons; may be society, fear, family, friends, relatives, employment etc…” Regards Sanjeev Sharma E-mail: ss_himachali@yahoo.com; s070976@yahoo.co.in) Blog: http://sanjeevhimachali.blogspot.com/ You can read my BPO/Call-Center and ITES Sector related articles at http://www.bpoindia.org/research/ You can read my motivational and inspirational articles at http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sanjeev_Sharma Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Sanjeev_Sharma http://EzineArticles.com/?Extra-marital-Affairs…Yes-or-No!!!&id=48509 internet pharmacy phentermine phentermine to buy phentermine no doctor prescription phentermine no prescription next day
